Most online shop-fronts follow a tried and tested formula. Users expect to be able to browse the shop in exactly the same way as every other online shop they browse. But sometimes this can be a little bland. Wouldn’t it be great if we could bring online stores to life for a truly interactive and fun shopping experience?
You should check out Dutch site, HEMA’s approach to online shopping.

The Hema website is just faboulus! They have spend many hours in creating this website. The intro (as in your link) is great and attracts to buy stuff from the website. The webshop its self is also good, with all those ajax scripts it is easy to navigate and control the shop.
The local stores are also very popular in Holland. Great notice. Good luck.
