I guess that this poster would have a real impact upon an 'onlooker' viewing it and realising its design-dimension (as it were) upon first sight. It's also fair to assume that this kind of advertising will have a lasting impact on people. On the downside, I would bet that some unscroupulous copycat alcohol company will mimic this kind of design to advertise alco-pops to teens. Wow, that’s quite impressive.
