You’ve read the about me page, you’ve flicked through my portfolio, you’ve even had a good read of my other blog, miLienzo.com, and you still want to know more?
Over the weekend I was interviewed by Ian who authors the Digital Revolution blog. He gave me quite a grilling and has now published his findings on his own blog. To find out what he discovered head over and read his interview with me.
The interview was organised as part of a group interview project between a handful of blogger-designers on the Estetica Design Forum. Other interviews that have already been published include:
Spotting those ‘thanks but no thanks’ client enquiries definitely helps, and is something I’ve also learnt how to spot.
Thankfully there haven’t been too many lately, and it always helps to direct people towards my questionnaire. Those who aren’t very serious won’t spend time answering important design questions.
David – Certainly in the early days of establishing yourself as a freelancer (which to be honest, I am in those early days) a job is a job and even the slightest interest in your services can be quite exciting. I’ve no doubt your questionnaire will help, and thanks for the cForms tip. Must get around to that asap.
I’ve read your interview Aaron, nice one ![]()
I wonder where are the rest of other designer interviews?
Kindda hard to track them all you know…
Audee – Hey, thanks for stopping by and commenting. I think all the interviews are done now – I liked to them all on my other blog when I interviewed Caroline Murphy.
Ah yes Aaron, I just found out..will publish the interview links round up today itself to my blog.
Last week I asked the question on Twitter, “What HTML element do you use for each line of a form? P, DIV, or something else?” So, how do you do your forms?
This years season of 24 ways article has come to a close and with it a reoccurring theme of controversy has arisen: designing in the browser. I offer my thoughts on why it misses the point.
The problem with CSS pre-processing frameworks is that they don’t really fit within the average web designers’ work flow. So I built an extension to LESS for creating cached stylesheets your PHP projects can use.
Are you a web designer or are you a web developer? Let me guess, you are a bit of both. Does that mean you are “doing it wrong”?
If you’re like me then your life revolves around email. Unfortunately the grip that email now has on all our lives creates as many problems as it solves. Learn how I control my Inbox.
