I was asked to develop a virtual stock market trading game using the Facebook API. The game is based on real data from the London stock exchange and encourages competition amongst it’s users and encourages viral growth.
IGM Investmore required an online application to be designed and developed which can easily be ’skinned’ to match their clients’ brand and visual identity. It needed to be easily scalable to allow for future development and expansion of the product, and make effective use of their unique array of financial tools and data.
The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) are a government agency who fund research and training in social and economic issues. I was asked to develop a mini-site for their Communications Toolkit - a 160-page resource advising how researchers should communicate their work effectively to achieve maximum impact.
IGM Investmore is an online service for the private investor. Their bespoke platform allows investors to monitor stocks and shares and receive instant SMS text message alerts. They required a customer-facing website designed and developed, from which to provide their monitoring and alerting tools and comprehensive financial data.
